Following last night’s announcement from our Prime Minister, clearly, we have moved into a new phase where we must significantly change the way we interact with each other – with the social distancing measures being seen as a critical way of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.

With a wife working in the NHS frontline, we are fully aware of the very real issues that our incredible NHS will encounter if we’re not able to contain the situation. 

We are extremely mindful that Ancroft Tractors is being classed as a Key Worker Employer; we provide services that directly influence the food supply chain. Machinery distribution is also classified as ‘critical’ and we must therefore balance our status with our responsibilities in terms of safety and service. 

You will therefore find our branches open for essential business, but we also need your help and support:

Parts Supply

Wherever possible, please phone our very knowledgeable and helpful team and you’ll find we’ll be able to fix the majority of issues remotely. Arrangements can also be made for parts to be delivered or safely collected from a pre-agreed location.

Service Supply

If your machinery needs urgent repairs, servicing or maintenance then please call 01289 331904 and appropriate arrangements will be made.

The open expanse of the workshops are seen as safe zones, as are the majority of the site jobs that we are asked to attend. If we could respectfully ask that a safe distance of 2 metres or more is always maintained when an engineer is on site. 

We are currently investigating ways that machines could be dropped off or collected from site if this is deemed to be a more practical and/or safer method of working.
