PARTS SALES ADVISOR
The role of Parts Sales Advisor will involve the successful candidate selling primarily to agricultural businesses. Your responsibilities will include identifying and satisfying customer equipment requirements for repair, maintenance and service for parts covering a range of machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking phone, email, and counter enquiries from customers
- Looking up and identifying parts
- Supplying service department with parts, as required
- Receiving and checking incoming shipments
- Establish and maintain customer relationships
- Assist in keeping the inventory of parts organised and up-to-date
- Be involved in inventory management, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
- Promoting and selling parts to meet customer needs
- Participate in proactive telemarketing campaigns
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience within the agriculture, plant, car industry or similar
- Able to work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish rapport with customers, both internal and external, are important
- An ability to work with people of all types in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft applications
- A flexible and positive attitude with an outgoing approach to work
- Friendly and approachable manner so you can assist internal and external customers
- A comfortable and proactive approach to selling and upselling by phone and in-person
